SSRS service restart in order to get Barcode working again.

2019 Update: IDAutomation now offers the (SSRS Native Barcode Generator) which stays embedded in the report and runs locally without the need for a CRI.

We ordered IDAutomation a year or so ago from you.

We have been working with a Vendor who is very familiar with your product. They have created dozens of Barcoded labels for us. Our problem is this, the barcode will print out of SSRS for a day or sometimes two but inevitably the barcodes will stop printing. Everything else on the label still prints, only the barcodes stop showing up. After we restart the SSRS service and reprint the same documents the barcodes start printing again.

It seems to be that some sort of buffer or cache is becoming too full and then barcodes stop printing and resetting SSRS unloads or refreshes the buffer. We can not be restarting SSRS all day long like this. Is there a setting/patch or upgrade we can get to resolve this issue?

Hello Robert,

I believe we have updated the control since the time of purchase which should have cleared up the buffer issue. Refer to this page to download the demo version.

Please let me know if the issue is cleared up.
