Blank in External Data Shows as Null in Barcode Label Software

I am using Excel as my external data source with the Barcode Label Software. We have variables in our labels such as 1 pc is 2.00, but quantities of 6 are 1.75. Sometimes, we do not have a quantity price so that cell is empty - but for some reason, it is printing NULL on the label.

How do I stop that?

Operating System: Windows 8.1

Application: IDAutomation Barcode Label Software, Excel

By trial and error, it turns out that the NULL was there (in the Barcode Label Software) because $ was being used as a prefix (in the external Excel data). Once the $ was taken out, the NULL no longer showed.

To avoid the blank displaying as NULL in the Barcode Label Software, try inserting a double-quote (""), or something else (like a zero), in the Excel cells so that they are not empty.
