While printing the Crystal Report to printer or file for Windows application using .net SDK, Maxicode appears distorted

We have a Windows service developed in Visual Studio 2010 with C# that we use to print UPS labels from Crystal Reports. We have purchased the Maxicode font but Crystal Reports does not print the font correctly, this is a known bug in Crystal and is slated for a fix some time in the next 2 quarters.

We cannot wait for the fix and I am looking for a way to generate an image for the Maxicode instead. Which IDAutomation product should I use for this?

I don't have a screenshot because the Maxicode is never displayed on a screen. The bullseye in the Maxicode gets distorted and the Maxicode is scaled down to a point that the dots are overlapping each other. The adapt number for the bug is ADAPT016889086 and is under SAP Note 1828347, scheduled to be fixed in sp6.

Is there a solution that we can host ourselves rather than relying on the Dynamic Generator Service? We would like to be able to print labels without going out to the web.

Ben	What happens when you attempt to print and generate the font? Can you email your screenshot? Contact Us If you are running Crystal XI and above, it is possible to stream barcodes using a Web Component such as the Dynamic Generator Service. Posted 10.7 year(s) ago (0) (0) Report Abuse
