Code 128 not displaying hyphen character

I'm using a Code 128 and everything prints great until we discovered that if the field we are trying to encode contains a hyphen character. I scanned other bar codes around the office and found they reported that it was a Code 128 and the result they gave DID have the "-" character but our will give a broken, unreadable bar code.

Also, I know that other things might invalid character in them. Is there a filemaker function or code that will strip any invalid characters out of the field we're trying to barcode?

Thanks in advance! I've got a DB I need to implement today and it's the last descrepency we have before we can go live so I'm a bit desperate to fix that one.

Verify the font size is not too large as the Native Generator can produce a barcode that looks distorted.

Code 128 can encode the hyphen. Verify that you are using Code 128 character set A, B, or Auto as set C can only encode numeric characters. Post an image or send us a PDF of the barcode.
