GS in DataMatrix with Separators excluding the ) from prefix

We have been asked by a customer to encode GS codes into a Data Matrix barcode, the format they require is [)><RS>06<GS>11K445816258<GS>PA011V498<GS>K5500012893<GS>Q300<RS><EOT>,

We have added the data string as ="[)>" & "~d030" & "06" & "~d029" & [PackSlipNo11K] & "~d029" & [PCustomer_PartNo] & "~d029" & [KOrder_Number] & "~d029" & [QMQty] & "~d030" & "~d004"
All seems ok except it will not show the ")" at the beginning, when we scan we get [><RS>06<GS>11K445816258<GS>PA011V498<GS>K5500012893<GS>Q300<RS><EOT>
Can you please help explain what we are doing wrong as we have not had to encode GS codes before?
Many Thanks

For testing, I used this in the Native Generator for Access and it works and encodes the characters correctly:
="[)>" & "~d030" & "06" & "~d029" & "PackSlipNo11K" & "~d029" & "PCustomer_PartNo" & "~d029" & "KOrder_Number" & "~d029" & "QMQty" & "~d030" & "~d004"

The product you ordered is from 2012. If the static example above does not work for you, the new version is what you need to resolve the issue. To get the latest version released last year, update your Level 2 priority support.

Also, as an interim solution you could try ~d041 instead of the ) for example:
="[" & "~d041" & ">" & "~d030" & "06" & "~d029" & "PackSlipNo11K" & "~d029" & "PCustomer_PartNo" & "~d029" & "KOrder_Number" & "~d029" & "QMQty" & "~d030" & "~d004"

Thank you for your reply,

We have used the Barcode Data Decoder App, and this decodes as
[><RS>06<GS>11K445816258<GS>PA011V498<GS>K5500012893<GS>Q300<RS><EOT>

This looks correct except the ")" is missing right at the front of the decoded barcode data, the data we are trying to encode is
="[)>" & "~d030" & "06" & "~d029" & [PackSlipNo11K] & "~d029" & [PCustomer_PartNo] & "~d029" & [KOrder_Number] & "~d029" & [QMQty] & "~d030" & "~d004"

Is the data at the front of the line correct as ="[)>" as it is the ")" that does not show when it is decoded

Many Thanks
