Is GS1 128 the same as C128 (Code 128)?

Are the fonts in your Code 128 Font Package the same as GS1-128?

Ben	Best Answer GS1-128 is a specification of the Code 128 symbology for a particular industry. Review this post for more information about Barcode Symbologies and Barcode Specifications. The font name C128, as in IDAutomationC128M, represents the font files located in the Code 128 Font Package. When combined with a font encoder and an implementation of specifications, this barcode package can generate GS1-128 barcodes. When generating GS1 symbols, IDAutomation recommends testing the result with the Barcode Decoder App which parses out GS1 data to verify proper encoding. Posted 8.6 year(s) ago (0) (0) Report Abuse
