qr barcode encoding

we are looking to purchase addition fonts but we currently only use Code 39 which is a very basic format that can be generated manually and then apply the font to generate the barcode ... from everything I see if we want to use Code 128 or QR (or most other formats) they require you to encode the data by calling some routine to do the encoding so I am trying to validate if this is an accurate statement or if I am not understanding properly

Operating System: windows

Application: WebFocus

Yes, that is an accurate statement. Font Encoders return a text string that will create a readable barcode when combined with the appropriate font. For example, you could use the QR Code Font Encoder that returns a text string that when combined with the IDAutomation2D Font creates a QR Code.
