Barcode Font on Crystal Report Causes Runtime Error

I have a .NET forms application that uses Crystal Reports. Any reports that have one of your Code 39 barcode fonts on it cause the report to throw an error. I have checked to make sure the fonts are in the Fonts folder. This occurs on one user running Windows 10. No other users are affected. The error that is occurring is Crystal Reports error: "Operation Not Yet Implemented". The Crystal Reports version is: No other reports are affected except reports that have a barcode font associated with them. There are approximately 120 separate reports in this application. I am using Crystal Reports version 12.3.0.60. Also initially the fonts were apparently not installed by the InstallShield installer as they were not in the Fonts folder and had to be copied manually. I have never seen this occur after thousands of installations of this software.

Operating System: Windows 10

Application: Application

I believe this error could be a deployment issue with Crystal Reports. Refer to the following incident and others at the SAP support site. The fonts not installing could be a different issue, such as a corrupt installation of Windows or a corrupt font folder.

Try the following on the PCs having font issues:
1. Choose Start – Settings – Control Panel – Fonts
2. Remove any IDAutomation fonts if they are installed
3. Reboot
4. Choose Start – Settings – Control Panel – Fonts
5. Choose File – Install New Fonts
6. After the fonts are installed, Reboot again
7. Choose Start – Settings – Control Panel – Fonts
8. Double-click on the font and make sure it appears

actually, the fonts do not install only on these 2 machines. All of the other 200 or so reports work perfectly. Also manually copying these Fonts to the Fonts folder has no effect.

The error that is occurring is Crystal Reports error: "Operation Not Yet Implemented". The installer is not installing the fonts on 2 computers at the same location. These are the only 2 we are aware of out of thousands of installations over the past 23 years. Manually copying the fonts to the Fonts folder doesn't remove the error.
