Barcode Oracle Reports 6i?

Hi.

From the post: https://www.idautomation.com/font-encoders/oracle-reports/
It´s possible to create a PDF with a barcode without carrying the font to all computer that reads the PDF?

In our tests, the pdf created being read on another computer, which does not have the font, does not show the barcode images, only text!

Any help?

Thanks

Operating System: Windows XP

Application: Oracle Reports 6i

IDAutomation fonts can be embedded in PDF documents. Verify that you are embedding the font. Because embedding is not a function of a font, IDAutomation is not responsible for the embedding process.

I found that "Font Subsetting / Font Embedding in the PDF generated by Oracle Reports is only possible with Oracle Reports >= 9.0.2"

Hi Adalberto,
Did you solve your problem? We are having the same issue. We have already modified the uifont.ali file ([ PDF:Embed ] IDAutomationSC128M = "IDAutomationSC128M.pfm IDAutomationSC128M.pfb") and put the fonts path in FORMS60_PATH (regedit). But it didn´t work, the pdf file doesn´t embed the barcode font.
