Barcode not printing in NovaPDF


We use SQL Server Reporting Service for a report and NovaPDF. When we try to print to a PDF the barcode does not display as a barcode. When the user prints or does a print preview, the barcode displays properly. So, I'm trying to figure out what I have to do to get it to work with NovaPDF.

Note: A new product (SSRS Native Barcode Generator) has been released since this post was resolved that offers an easier method of generating barcodes in SSRS without fonts or other components.


Based on the product that you are using, the Code 128 Font Package, it seems as if the font is not properly embedded in the PDF. The utility is responsible for the embedding process.

Verify the font is embedded into NovaPDF

View the embedding solution for Reporting Services 2000, 2005, and 2008 from Microsoft.
