Crystal Function Help


Hi Support

I loaded the Data Matrix Font and Encoder Advantage package. Reviewing the example crystal report I have noticed that the function in the formula does not match the additional function in Crystal. Are there dlls that need to be registered or copied into another folder?

There is an updated solution for generating Data Matrix Barcodes in Crystal Reports.

View the new solution.


NOTE: The latest version of the Data Matrix Font Package now installs a font named IDAutomation2D instead of IDAutomationDMatrix.

You may also access the IDAutomationDMatrix font (or the IDAutomation2D.ttf) by navigating to the AdditionalFonts.zip, extracting the files, and manually copying the font to your Windows Fonts directly.

Disregard the functions that you see in the additional functions list as they are used in the code. After installing the package, this is all you will need in your report. Set the DataToEncode to your field or value that will be the barcode.
