Data Matrix Fonts not working in Crystal


Hi there,

We recently purchased your 2D Matrix Software. We are having some trouble with the fonts in Crystal reports. The example you provided is IDAutomationDMatrix font, however, we cannot find this in the product download.

Do we have to get this separately, or are we missing something in crystal reports?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Based on your order, you have the Data Matrix Font and Encoder Advantage Package.

The product zip includes an EXE and a Data Matrix folder.

The EXE installs the IDAutomationDMatrix font as well as encoders used in Crystal Reports and MS Office.

NOTE: The latest version of the Data Matrix Font Package now installs a font named IDAutomation2D instead of IDAutomationDMatrix.


You may also access the IDAutomationDMatrix font (or the IDAutomation2D.ttf) by navigating to the AdditionalFonts.zip, extracting the files, and manually copying the font to your Windows Fonts directly.

Within the Crystal Reports font selection window, the IDAutomationDMatrix (or the IDAutomation2D.ttf) font may appear as the highlighted illustration.
