HC39 Text Box Vertical Orientation


Hi,

I'm currently trialing the HC39 fonts. While placing them within a text box and orienting them vertically, the spacing between the characters is oddly large, see attached. This isn't the case when using the font in Windows 7, Word 2010, where the font appears normally. Is there an easy way around this? We can't manually adjust the spacing in Word as this will have further downstream impacts. imageLink

When I open the attachment on Windows 10 in Word, I see:

In this case, I'd contact Microsoft support to discuss the limitations of orientation for some fonts.

Hi Brant, thanks for replying. Unfortunately, changing the text box size or font size doesn't resolve the issue.

Make sure the text box is large enough to properly contain the symbol, or it may get distorted. When viewing on the screen, it is common for some distortion to appear at different point sizes. Try changing the point size. If that does not work, please post a screenshot.
