I don't understand the naming convention for the PCL fonts. Can you explain?

For example, I have the C39L08.SFP but I do not know what these numbers and letters mean.

I can certainly explain the naming convention used for IDAutomation PCL fonts. PCL (Printer Command Language) Fonts are fonts that are installed on printers. IDAutomation includes PCL fonts in many of our Font Packages. In your example, the C39L08.SFP is the PCL font for Code 39 (part of the Code 39 Font Package).

The first few characters (C39) describe the barcode type--Code 39. The L stands for Large and represents the height of the barcode. This can range from XXS (Extra Extra Small) to XXL (Extra Extra Large). The numeric value at the end represents the barcode point size/font size.

C39 is the Barcode type.

L is the barcode height.

08 is the barcode font size.

Here are a few examples:

Code 128: C128M24.SFP
C128 is the barcode type, Code 128.
M is the font height, medium.
24 is the point size, font size.

Data Matrix: DMATRIX07.SFP
DMATRIX is the barcode type, Data Matrix.
07 is the point size, font size
