My mail merged barcodes all contain the field name and not the data in the field


I am using your barcode fonts and barcode Add-In. When I perform a mail merge, the barcodes are all exactly the same in my Word document. What is happening?

When performing a mail merge into Word using Excel, only encode the data
using the Barcode Add-In directly in Excel. After the fields are merged into the
Word document, it is not necessary to apply
the Barcode Add-In as it will
re-encode the data by generating several barcodes that contain the name of the
field rather than the data contained in it. Once the data is merged, apply the
barcode font to the merged field.

1. Encode the data using the Barcode Add-In in Excel

2. Merge the field in Word and Apply the barcode font to the merged field (no need to use the Add-In in Word since the data is already encoded in Excel using the Add-In).
