UPC-A FONT NEEDED

I purchased your upc/ean font package, as we need upc-a font for crystal reports labels from a software called Sage 100. i don't see this font in crystal reports, after the installation. There are upcean but none of them produce the required upc-a barcodes needed. Please advise.

Hello Debby,

You purchased the correct font/encoder package to use the Barcode Font Encoder Formulas for Crystal Reports as they are included in your downloaded software. You will need to follow this tutorial step by step to install the Font Formula in your Crystal Report to encode the data before applying the font to complete the barcode.

If you are having issues following the tutorial, please advise which step you have a problem with and exactly what that issue is. The font formula is located in the below imaged pathway in your product download.

I've looked and looked and then realized that you are referencing another software package from you guys. So are you saying that I bought the wrong thing? Please advise as I don't understand what to "install" as you instructions indicate. Thank you. Debby

Hello Debby,

When using Crystal Reports, the installation you should be using is the Barcode Font Encoder Formulas for Crystal Reports. What makes the UPC/EAN barcode the UPC-A barcode is that you use the correct font formula that is included with your package to encode the data for UPC-A. The fonts themselves are a standard UPC/EAN font that can generate UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, and EAN-13 barcodes.

Here is a screenshot of the font formula that you will be installing for each user for UPC-A:

To complete the barcode, you will then apply the IDAutomationUPCEAN font that you wish to use.
