Resolved Questions

We currently have IDAutomationC128*.ttf fonts, version 5.1, dated 2005. We are using these fonts for the GS1-128 IMpb USPS barcode. Are there newer versions of these fonts that we should get?

Since your last purchase, IDAutomation has released a couple of updates. The latest Code 128 Font Package release was yesterday which includes human readable Code 128 (from 2009), new font formulas for Crystal Reports, and Web fonts.

No, you could generate GS1-128 with your current fonts and a font encoder that is Feature Level 4 and above.

If you require human readability underneath the barcode consider updating to the latest version as it is easier to generate the barcode.

To generate the human readable with your current version, you must manually include a field underneath the barcode.

I understand your response that there are updates or newer versions of these fonts. Do we have to purchase these updated fonts to produce the IMpb/GS1-128 properly or will our existing IdAutomation fonts suffice?
