Barcode fonts rendering as text in Adobe

We have used idautomation fonts for years in our application specifically the Code 3 of 9 Fonts and OCR-A Fonts. Recently when rendering to Adobe the fonts are showing as text only. Thus far we haven't found a solution. Is there a resolution to this issue?

Brant	Best Answer Upon investigation, your fonts are from 2006, so the fonts you are using are ancient. We recommend obtaining the latest version by purchasing the Level 2 Support which will provide you with the latest versions. Removing the old versions, reinstalling, and rebooting is best. Unfortunately, the answer provided didn't solve the issue. The font had been working previously before recent browser updates and the fonts are installed as true type fonts. Our application dynamically builds the pdf as a rendered file and there is no ability to change the font once the pdf is generated. If I change the font type in the program to a different font, it displays, Is there an updated font set for IDAutomationCode39S for newer computers?

There are a few situations that could cause this. If you are using Adobe on a new system, make sure you only install one of the font types for the font that is used in the application. We recommend the TTF TrueType fonts. After installation, reboot the machine. After rebooting, if the font still does not show up, select the text and choose the appropriate font.
