How to Encode F10 in Code 39


We are using 3rd-party scanners and using the fonts in the IDAutomation Code 39 Package. I have scanned the barcode for that scanner for "Enable Code 39 Full ASCII". I am having trouble creating the barcode for F10 and have tried using Extended Code 39. I have tried multiple things, but nothing seems to work.

Can you point me in the right direction?

The use of function keys in barcodes is a combination of the encoding in a barcode and a scanner’s ability to interpret that encoding correctly. We can provide support only for our scanners, but review the Encode Keyboard Function Keys in a Barcode page for information on encoding function keys in Code 39 and Code 128, using the IDAutomation SC5-USB scanner.

The recommendation is to refer to your scanner’s manual for ‘keyboard wedge’ functionality/emulation (it may be called something different).
