Need help on how to program SC5USB to read and transmit a specific group of characters in succession

I'm moving up from an LS2208 to a SC5USB, and I need to know how to program it to read and transmit a 9-digit barcode, Enter, Y, Enter, then repeat the 9 digits and Enter again. Can you help, please?

It would be sort of like the suffix or postamble, but the book doesn't cover repeating the original data (that I could find, anyway).

I'm looking for your equivalent to 2208's Advanced Data Formatting chapter/functions. Or do I need a new perspective on the whole programming thing?

Any advice you could give me on making the transmission would be most appreciated. I'm especially looking forward to using the F-keys and PgDn.

Application: Would you believe an old DOS based program?

Although it is possible to add a prefix or suffix, repeating the scanned data is not possible.

To encode a function key in a barcode, please refer to the Encode Keyboard FNC Keys in a Barcode page.

To add this functionality to the scanner itself and not the barcode, please refer to the IDAutomation SC5USB-D: Adding F-key or other characters such as an F2 or F10 as Prefix (before the barcode scan) or Suffix(after the barcode scan) Quick Guide.

There are many Quick Guides also available for reference.

This is a unique request. Scanners do not typically need to repeat data, so our scanners can only prefix and postfix the data scanned. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Since the SC5USB can't do it, are there any scanners available that can do both things?
