Why does the Anchor feature in the Barcode Label Software not seem to work in demo version with vertical barcodes?

I am trying to see if your barcode label software will generate the labels we need before buying. I have designed a label with vertical barcodes and know how an anchor is supposed to work, but I have tried anchoring all four corners without success. Regardless of the corner I choose, the vertical barcode "grows" in the down direction with longer values. Is the demo not fully functional? There seems to be nothing on the anchor property in your help file.

Anchor is only designed to work with multiple data values from an external or embedded source. It is not designed to work with manually entered values (Standard Value Type).

This is because the Standard Value Type option is usually used to enter one value--good for producing labels with identical information on it.

If you are creating labels with different values, I suggest using the embedded data option.

Ben, I agree that it should work the way you described, but it doesn't. I think the only thing I am doing differently is changing values manually. I set up the label using one typical value, but when I tested with another value (entered manually) it ignored the anchor setting repeatedly. Could the manual entry of value be the cause?

Product: Barcode Label Software

The anchor feature is directly related to the barcode. Here is an example using the Anchor feature left and right.

The anchor feature is working as defined by IDAutomation.
