RANDOM DISCONNECT - MODEL IDA-SC5USB-WB

I have disabled Bluetooth connections. The cradle is connected to the PC via USB. The scanner will work for a period of time and then simply disconnect while you are trying to use it.

Operating System: Windows 7 64bit

Application: Key board wedge

The problem is between the scanner and the cradle. The amber radio light comes on and base beeps.

Review a few solutions that may resolve the issue (make sure the scanner is fully charged beforehand):
• Disconnect the scanner cord from the base of the scanner and then reconnect it until you hear a 'click.'
• Ensure the cursor is in the desired application.
• Disconnect the scanner and try a different USB port.
• Reboot the computer.
