SC5USB USB Scanner FNC1 for GS1-128 USPS Barcodes

Our USB Cord Barcode Scanner (SC5USB) will not scan the USPS (Post Office) Barcodes correctly. It has a symbol, then C, and a long erroneous number. I have the Program Manual. What would I need to do to program the scanner for reading?

If you are looking to either enable or disable the FNC1 which is the "]C1" you are seeing, the instructions and programming barcodes are here:

The SC5USB-D Barcode scanner is capable of scanning the following barcode types:

Supported 1D symbologies (barcode types) include GS1 DataBar 14, DataBar Truncated, DataBar Stacked, DataBar Stacked Omni-directional, DataBar Limited, DataBar Expanded, DataBar Expanded Stacked Omni-directional, GS1-128, Code 39, Full ASCII Code 39, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 128, UCC/EAN 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, Codabar, MSI Plessey, Industrial 2 of 5, Code 93, UPC/EAN with an addendum.

This scanner can scan the GS1-128 barcodes for USPS GS1-128 IMpb, USPS Intelligent Mail Container Barcode, and the USPS-L-3216 24 Digit Tray Label as they are all Code 128 barcodes, but it cannot scan the IMb barcode type.

You can also review the barcode types that this scanner is capable of with all of the programming pages here: IDAutomation SC5USB Scanner Programming Manual
