128 SSCC-18 check digit always 0

I'm working with the ID Automation Demo fonts/formulas and am having trouble getting a check digit to calculate properly. I am using the formula from the sample page of Crystal Reports formulas named "IDAutomation_Uni_Code128".I have my DatatoEncode set as ~2120008516200080000010~m17 This should give me a check digit of 7, but I get 0. This is just one example... I've tried multiple values and they all provide a check digit of 0 in the barcode. I do have ApplyTilde set to 1.
The Human Readable formula works and shows the correct information.

I've tried both the IDAutomation SUni M Demo font as well as the IDAutomationGS1 34 DEMO font with no difference.

Thank you in advance for your help!
