How do I create a compact barcode?

I have a client who upgraded their Visual Studio from VS 2008 to VS 2017. In the previous version, Visual Studio had an add-on software that was used to allow barcodes to be added. The new version does not support the add-on, so we purchased the IDAutomation SSRS Barcode Generator script to add code 128 barcodes to our SSRS reports. The barcodes from the previous version were nice and compact, allowing us to print on one page. However, the script is creating larger barcodes, which is resulting in the reports printing on two pages. I have adjusted the side of the barcodes by adjusting the height in the script and making the font Lucida Console 3 pt, but the barcode does not seem compact enough. Is there another way to create compact barcodes that are more comparable to older versions?

Make sure you are using the Code 128 auto function. Can you try the barcode in the example provided in the product zip file and see if that can be made compact enough?

I tried to make the size 1.5 or 2 pt, but the height of the barcode is all that changes. The length of the barcode is still longer than the previous one. Here are some screenshots that will explain:

This is the new barcode. Here is the old one:

If you see here, the barcode is representing the same value, but the barcode is longer in length. I need to know how to make it shorter in length, rather than height.

The SSRS Barcode Generator can create smaller barcodes by changing the point size to 1.5 or 2 points. If that does not work, let me know.
