How to use function character?

I am in the demo in EXCEL with IDAutomationVBA, I want a barcode using the function character.
<SOH>1<STX>7;50<ETX>
How can I type the string in Cell to have the right result?

I use Code 128A.
I try the IDAutomation barcode scanner and I have 2 result
in function : <SOH>1<STX>7;50<ETX><CR>
in ASCII value : <1>1<2>7;50<3><13>

But if I try to use both in Excel, I don't have a good result.
I did a test in Notepad, and the result is supposed to be: 17;50

but the result I have is: '1.1'2.7;50'3.'13. (this is not good)

Can you re-explain the issue and what you are trying to encode? It is difficult to decipher exactly what you need to accomplish.

Are you attempting to encode specific functions into the scanner or into the barcode?

What barcode symbology are you working with? If you are using Code 39, you may want to take a look at the Code 39 FAQ with Extended Character Set Chart: https://www.barcodefaq.com/1d/code-39/
