I would like to know why the size of the bars and spaces of the code 128 font are different.

Example: IDAutomationSC128M bar = 55-56 units space = 60-61 units.

Thank you for the clarification. The spacing of our barcodes is determined by the symbology in question. If there is a specific issue preventing implementation, please let us know.

Hi James,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I did not mean at different heights but different widths
(see please my drawing).

The width A is not equal to the width B, but the bar-space ratio is ~ 47/53 image

IDAutomation provides various heights, indicated by the letters (XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL) after the '128' in the font names of the Code 128 Barcode Font Package. As well as different heights, our True Type fonts (as well as many other font types found in the package) may be scaled to various font point sizes, as in standard fonts, providing the user with a wide variety of sizes to choose from.

Please refer to the Code 128 Font Package's font specifications for more details.
