Issue with Code 128 Font exporting to PDF from Crystal


We are experiencing an issue with the IDAutomation Code 128 Font with PDFs. After exporting from a Crystal Reports document to a PDF, the barcode does not display in the exported PDF. The same barcode TTF Font family is used on my other machine and works fine, but it is creating an issue on another new machine.

Operating System: windows 11

Application: visual studio 2013 , crystal reports 2008

Best Answer

The best option would be to embed the fonts in the PDF. If you have a Developer License for the font, you can embed the font in the PDF and distribute it. If you have user licensing for the font, the fonts must be installed on each PC viewing the PDF.
