Need to create Code 128 in BI Publisher

We are currently using the demo version of the IDAutomation Code 128 Font for our OBIEEE BIP RTF Template Reports in Oracle Fusion R13 Instance. The demo version displays the barcode but with a string demo written on it. We suspect that the custom font was not deployed with BI Publisher install nor the IDAutomation JAR files in BIP Enterprise.

We were previously using IDAutomation font for our R11 Oracle Reports and the font package bought had the following files:
has provided me with the font package they used for R11. It contains the following files
· backout_bms2061.csh
· backup_PROD
· backup_UATO
· bms2061.csh
· bms2061.doc
· IDAutomation.rdf
· IDAutomation.sql
· IDAutomationSC128M.afm
· IDAutomationSC128M.pfa
· IDAutomationSC128M.pfb
· Installing Fonts on UNIX for Oracle Reports - Print.pdf

My question is in order to make sure that the IDAutomation Code 128 font works properly in our Oracle R13 BI Publisher Reports, what are the products we need to buy to deploy the font?

Thanks, Meghalee

To deploy the Code 128 Font without the demo watermark, a Developer License to the font would need to be purchased. After that, the font name you would deploy would be IDAutomationC128M.* without the "S" in the name.

We provide a summary of Oracle BIP Implementation and it contains links to articles from Oracle and others about implementation. We apologize that there is not any more information we can provide at this time.

Thanks for your update.
Maybe in that case we might have to rethink using the font
Unless we have proper documentation to suffice that the same is going to work for our Fusion BIP Reports, we might not be able to proceed with the purchase.
In any case, do you think you might be able to help us with some docs from your end?

Thanks,
Meghalee

We are not very familiar with Oracle Fusion. Therefore, you should consult the documentation for that about what is required and how it is deployed. The Developer Package will contain all the fonts and components you will need to generate the barcode.

Thanks, Brant!
I have an additional question.
Can you confirm that on the purchase of the package, these two files are the ones that will be required to proceed with the deployment of the font in Oracle Fusion R13? The client wants to be absolutely sure before the purchase.

1. ID Automation jar files( The Java Barcode Font Encoder Class Library) ---> to be installed at JAVA_HOME/lib.
2. and the .ttf file(True Type Font File) that needs to be uploaded to the font folder of the OBIEE BIP directory.

Awaiting your response
Thanks.
