DataMatrix Encoder for Windows only shows text for the barcode.


Hi,

I have a DataMatrix encoder for Windows version 1.2. It runs on windows7 without any issues.

But when I install the same software on Windows 2012R2 server and it only shows the text property of the barcode. I am not sure why it's happening and hope I have gotten an answer here.

If you only need to generate one barcode at a time similar to the yellow application, update your Level 2 Support to obtain the most recent version of the Data Matrix Font and Encoder Package. It includes an application called the Font Encoder Application that generates one barcode at a time. If you need to generate multiple barcodes, then use the Excel solution (the most updated Excel solution is also available in the Level 2 Support plan).

Copy the encoded text of the Data Matrix, paste it into a Text application, and select the barcode font named IDAutomation2D. I recommend encoding the data in an application such as Excel using VBA instead of using the Font Encoder Application (yellow app).
