DataMatrix is not decoded as GS1 DataMatrix

When using the Data Matrix Fonts, I have two different types of bar code on this document plus full encoded numbers and the Human Readables. The bar code in column B is a GS1-128 and works fine. The second bar code should be a GS1 DataMatrix. When scanned the first one comes up correctly. All the rest scan as just DataMatrix even though they are using the same the same formula.

Hello April,

When I review your Excel spreadsheet you are creating a formula to encode for the Data Matrix barcode that is not correct with the ~202 and the ~1. You need to take your data from column A for example in A2: ~202420554323568~202921879028574520121001~m21 and change that data so that the ~202 is no longer a ~202. You need to replace that with ~1 for the Data Matrix barcode type.

The previous forum post you opened,~213 was just an example. You are using ~202 and you have to replace that with ~1.

Please create a new column of data for your Data Matrix barcodes so that you aren't creating a formula to replace the FNC1 characters. Your new column of data should be using ~1 so your cell A2 in a new column for the Data Matrix would look like ~1420554323568~1921879028574520121001~m21

After you create a new column of data, then reference that only with your formula: =IDAutomation_DMatrix_FontEncoder(CELL) and remove the substitute that you have setup because it is not changing the FNC1 for you correctly to generate GS1 Data Matrix

In order to simplify this for you, please set up columns in your spreadsheet specific to Data Matrix so they look like this:
