Use Extended Keys (Down Arrow) with Datamatrix Barcode

I have the need to make a barcode that sends a carriage return followed by a down arrow key after each field in my linked data set, I have everything figured out except the down arrow key. Is there a code like ~d013 to emulate the down arrow? The program that I have to enter data into is pretty archaic and that is the only way to do it.

Cheers,

Brendan

The vertical tab (what you are doing) is the closest thing to what there is to jump down a field. I have researched this and there is not a direct ASCII mapping for the equivalent of the down arrow, as it is left to be interpreted by the OS how it will handle that key-strike.

I am using IDAutomation Barcode Label Software Pro. I have tried double tabs, carriage returns, and other things, but the only one that works is the down arrow (short of clicking on the field). I can make the form fill using the Symbol 123Scan software which has down arrow emulation, but I run out of memory in the scanner to do all of the formatting that I require. If I could code the down arrows directly in the barcode, it would work.

Which program are you using, specifically? Are you using our Label Printing Software? Do you think you could work out if a double tab would get you to the next field, instead of the down-arrow (not supported directly )?
