How to configure GS1-128 module size in Filemaker?


Hello,

We are working on implementing GS1-128 into a business using Filemaker and we are having an issue with regards to module size. According to the GS1-128 specifications, the minimum module size should be 0,495 mm. From what we've gathered the module sizes in the native generator are increments of 0.3 mm, which is either too thin for the standard or the bar code becomes too wide when using 0.6 mm. Is there any way of configuring this in a different way to get it closer to the GS1 specification?

You are correct about the sizes, they must be in .03 mm increments when using the web viewer. However, as an additional feature, a Custom Function Implementation is also provided for Code 128 in the Native Generator which supports GS1-128 in different sizes. If one of those options in the product does not work, I suggest trying the GS1-128 Font Package which also includes custom font functions for FileMaker.
