I need to export a CSV file from the QR Encoder App

How can I get the QR Code Encoder App to export a CSV file rather than an XML file? I’ve been using the Universal Font Encoder app (in Windows) to import CSV files, encoding the data to Code 128 barcodes, and then exporting a CSV file that has the encoded data. I then use that encoded CSV file to use InDesign’s data merge function and create variable data codes in InDesign. The client is now wanting variable QR codes instead of Code 128. I purchased the IDAutomation package thinking it would be the same process, but I’m getting an .XML file and InDesign won’t allow me to use an XML file as a data source.
