Barcode breaking up in the form

Hi there,

I am using IDAutomation font as a barcode in forms.

I need to barcode data format as in '123456|R|01|02'. For that, the string I am

passing to the text field is 'APFIFNGLBIDMELGMANDJCPEKAJHIGKCNEKGPHPFLHMHMEKHK
APKLBICBMIAMHFEMHIGEENBKAMFKOMNABHIEAEKJBBJMACGKAH
PPHNGPEGOBNPCCPGLFJNLKAKONCDJKMJMFLKLKMOALJBLKAOEA
IIAACOMIIOMAEIMCAAIKAMECCAEEEAAMOGMGIMIKEOGK'.

It should display the barcode in the rectangle box. (here, the lengthy code is broken into 4 rows and collectively they hold the data.)

Now the issue is that when the form is displayed. it shows the white horizontal lines in it, precisely 3 white lines. Because of this, it is not showing the data correctly and the barcode reader does not recognize it

Any pointer is appreciated.

Thanks.

If you can create the barcodes one at a time, I would suggest using the Image Generator, which allows you to paste images into your software (instead of using fonts). Try the demo and let me know if that works better for you.

Additionally, we have a KB about the white line issue that may be the solution to the problem when using the fonts:

Thank you for the update.

I am not sure how Adobe Live Cycle works, so I am not sure how the image could be utilized. Can you update me on what is being used to produce the encoded string? 'APFIFNGLBIDMELGMANDJCPEKAJHIGKCNEKGPHPFLHMHMEKHK
APKLBICBMIAMHFEMHIGEENBKAMFKOMNABHIEAEKJBBJMACGKAH
PPHNGPEGOBNPCCPGLFJNLKAKONCDJKMJMFLKLKMOALJBLKAOEA
IIAACOMIIOMAEIMCAAIKAMECCAEEEAAMOGMGIMIKEOGK'

Are you using the Font Encoder Application that was installed with the font package, or are you using the VBA macro in Excel or Access?

Hello Tim,
I am not sure about the component, but we had the IDAutomation_DataMatrixFontEncoder.exe setup file.
We are designing the form/pdf using Adobe LiveCycle.
Could you please let me know how to use the IDAutomation image instead of the font? Does IDAutomation recommend any of the specific ways? Any pointer would be useful.

Thanks,
rsv

Can you please let me know the specific component that is being used? The file name will suffice.
Also, is this being used in a .Net forms application?
If so this can be used to display the barcode as an image instead of using the font. This would get around the display issue and it would make the application more portable since it will not be dependent on the barcode font.
