Encoding 128 Barcodes in HTML

Hi

I want to barcode 8FQC10000015A021 I'm using this

<span style="text-align:center;font-family:IDAutomationC128XL;font-size:1.35em;">8FQC10000015A021</span>

Nothing scans, I now realize I have to encode it, I've been told that subset A, B or C is ok, I have looked at
https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-faq/code-128/#GS1-FNC1 but still have no idea what I need?

Can you help?

Right, the PHP solution is a non-font solution.

I'm more than happy coding php, so I guess this is the way forward

I don't have to buy encoders etc this will do it all?

Code128 Subset:
For the given data, subsets A or B may be used. Subset C is numerical-only and interleaved (in even-grouped sets of 2).

Barcode Fonts:
Depending on the setup, a font-encoder must be matched up (to the technology and process being used). Using your expertise, you would pass the data to the font encoder and return the result. It is to that resulting encoded text to which you would apply the barcode font.

There is a variety of components that one may also use in a web setup.
