FNC1 after AI 01, how can I avoid this?

Hi there,

I am wondering why the GS1 is encoded with an FNC1 after the AI (01) (see picture enclosed), as this field has a fixed length as far as know. I would like to know how to avoid this to happen.
Here is the code that I’m using with the IDAutomation Font Formula for Universal Barcode Fonts with Crystal Reports:

Dim DataToEncode As String
'Modify the next line to connect to the data source;
DataToEncode = "Ê01" & {@Prüfziffernberechnung} & "Ê10" & {@Charge} & "Ê15" & {@MHD_Format_Cron}
'& cstr(date({@MHD}), "yyMMdd")
'for example: DataToFormat = ({TestData.Data})
'To append the FNC 1 character to the beginning of your data use the Ê character or ~202.
'For example: DataToFormat = "Ê" & ({DataTable.DataField})

Operating System: Windows 7

Application: Crystal Reports

The solution for the Crystal Font Formulas would be to exclude the Ê character after the “01”
because this inserts the FNC1. Refer to https://www.barcodefaq.com/1d/gs1-128/#GS1-FNC1
