Generate QR Code by PowerBuilder

Good day,

I'm trying to use QR-Font and Encoder to generate a QR Code in the PowerBuilder system, but I'm not sure of the correct syntax for PB.

After referring to the example in VB, I tried to modify the PB format to call the EncQR in IDAutomationQRCODE.DLL.

function string EncQR(string as_Data, integer ai_Tilde, integer ai_EncMode, integer ai_version, integer ErrLevel) library "IDAutomationQRCODE.dll"

However, it does not work.
Can you give me some advice? What is the proper way to work within PB?

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Victor Law

Operating System: Win7

IDAutomation.com, Inc. does not guarantee, support, or troubleshoot PowerBuilder source code.

Please review the QR-Code Font and Encoder User Manual section titled “Importing the VBA Module into VB, Excel or Access" and you will see instructions on the VBA usage for the IDAutomation_QRCodeVBA.bas file (included with the QR-Code Font and Encoder download).

From there (although we do not provide instruction on how to do it), translating it to PowerBuilder should be very straightforward.

Thank you for your information.

I can generate the QR Code successfully now.
I used OLEObject in PowerBuilder.
Here is the code for sharing:

OLEObject ole_data
ole_data = Create OLEObject
ole_data.ConnectToNewObject("IDAuto.QRCode")
ole_data.FontEncode(as_source_data, ai_Tilde, ai_EncMode, ai_version, ai_ErrLevel, REF ls_QRCode)

Thank you again.
