Error on 64bit PC: 'u25idautomation.dll' that implements this function is missing


I receive an error in Crystal Reports: "'u25idautomation.dll' that implements this function is missing" when I run my application on a 64-bit laptop. It ran perfectly on a 32-bit PC (both Windows 7 & VS 2008).

This error occurs because an old version of the u25idautomation.dll UFL is missing or it is a version prior to 2011 that is not 64-bit compatible. IDAutomation recommends using Font Formulas instead of the UFL because the formulas stay embedded within the report.

To obtain the font formulas you should either purchase a license to the desired font package or update the support subscription for an already purchased product.
