having issue with Aztec barcode in 64 bit os

I am using VB2010 to print the barcode. I am using the AZTLIB.DLL.
The code runs on any x32 machine, I also have the code running on an XP x64 machine with no problem. I am trying to install it on a Windows server 2003 x64.
I get the message 'Retrieving the com class factory from component with clsid {} failed due to the following error: 80040154.
This reference is to an issue between the x36 and x64 codes. I set my project from any CPU to x86. but no changes. I have checked permissions on the dll.

If I comment out the reference to the AZTEC code, then the program will run.

I am missing some settings to correct this issue?

Ben	Best Answer If you are using Visual Studio 2010, then I recommend using the .NET Forms Control to generate Aztec Barcodes: https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-components/windows-forms-control/ Posted 12 year(s) ago (0) (0) Report Abuse
