Apply Tilde not working in QR-Code Image Generator

I just purchased the Image Generator, Linear + 2D for Windows. I am trying to generate a QRCode with tabs (using the ~d009) within alphanumeric data. With the Apply Tilde checkbox selected, the output of the scanned image does not include tabs. The output of a QRCode data: 1223~d0090888
Outputs: 12230888
This same data does result in a tab for a DataMatrix.

Operating System: Windows 10 10.0.19043 Build 19043

debrac	Best Answer I just took your data and used it with the QR Image Generator from the download of your order and was able to get the Apply Tilde to work as per the screenshots below. As you can see, the apply tilde is working and the tab is encoded. I used the Barcode Data Decoder Verifier App to scan the resulting barcode but 2 other scanners also showed the tab encoded in the data. In this case, your scanner is not interpreting the function. You may need to program your scanner for interpreting functions and each scanner is different for that process. We would recommend reaching out to the scanner manufacturer to set up that programming. In this case, your scanner is not interpreting the function. You may need to program your scanner for interpreting functions and each scanner is different for that process. We would recommend reaching out to the scanner manufacturer to set up that programming.

This is an image of the output I get from the QR Code & the Data Matrix generator with the same data. The Apply Tilde is selected in both cases.

If the scanner is not interpreting the function in the QRCode, I wouldn't expect it to work for the DataMatrix either. In addition, I tested the QRCode in the iPad version ("QR-Code Contact Info Generator App") provided by IDAutomation, which did interpret the tab correctly (same as the DataMatrix Image Generator).
