Changing barcode width (Code 39)


I have the Hosted Dynamic Barcode Image Generator Service and I’m trying to setup a URL to output a GIF and I’m having trouble controlling the size of the barcode.

All is working correctly with the height but I can’t seem to get the width right. I am trying to adjust using the M or X attributes but it doesn’t seem to make any difference.

Am I using the correct attributes to control the width of the bars and overall barcode width?

The X parameter, which stands for XDimensionCM, will increase/decrease the barcode used in increments of .03.

Valid values for X include:
.03, .06, .09, .12, .15, .18, etc


The M parameter is XDimensionMILS; it increases/decreases the barcode in increments of approximately 11.
