The HIBC Data Matrix Barcode includes:
(1) Message Header
(2) Data Identifier for a supplier assigned part number
(3) Issuing Agency Code
(4) Supplier LIC
(5) Data Delimiter
(6) Packaging Level Data Identifier
(7) Packaging Level Indicator
(8) Lot Number Data Identifer
(9) Lot Number
(10) Data Delimiter
(11)Production Date Data Identifier
(12)Date
(13)Data Delimiter
(14)Expiration Date Data Identifier
(15)Date (Expiration)
(16)Message Trailer

Example Data includes all fields:
(25P)RHB1231234560(26Q)0(1T)L123(16D)20071217(14D)20200131

The Data Delimiters come before the Data Identifiers and are represented as Group Separators or <GS> created for Data Matrix as ~d029.

The Message Trailer includes the Record Separator or <RS> created using ~d030 and the End of Transmission or <EOT> created using ~d004.

NOTE: Although IDAutomation describes how to create the barcode for HIBC, review HIBC guidelines to ensure that the appropriate data and barcode size (height and width) meet the latest specification requirements.
