The example describes how to create a Code 128 HIBC Primary and Secondary Barcode using the Image Generator.

PRIMARY BARCODE:

Labeler Identification Code - Assigned by HIBCC. Identifies the labeler. It is four alphanumeric characters.
Example: B123

Product/Catalogue Number - Assigned by the labeler. Identifies the item/drug/device. 1-18 alphanumeric characters.
Example: 12000

Unit of Measure - Assigned by the labeler. Identifies the packaging configuration level of the item. 1 digit.
Example: 1

(1) Run the Image Generator.

(2) Set the Symbology to Code 39 and ensure the Use Check Digit property is enabled. The MOD43 check character will be created from this setting.

(3) Add the prefix character "+" and the Primary data as +B123120001

(4) The result produces a J as the MOD43 check character.
