Is it possible to determine the zize of a QR code?


I'm looking for a solution to create QR codes in Crystal report and are now testing Native Crystal Reports Barcode Generator from you. We want to print QR codes on pallet labels and need to have them at a zize of 52 * 52 mm to scan from distance. A typical QR code for this would have a informtion like this:
00373303576107004710910503163
We are using Crystal Report 2010 and 2020.

Hello,

When using our Native Barcode Generator for Crystal Reports, you can set the size of the barcode using the "Version" Property in the encoder. This Version property can be set to keep the QR Code the same size and can only be set to the highest amount of data in the barcode and if the data is too large for the QR Code, the software will override the Version to make the barcode larger. You can review the different Versions available here: DensoWave QR Code Versions. The overall size of the barcode is set via the point size of the font and you can measure the resulting barcodes to make sure they are the size you wish to use as per the user manual: Native Crystal Reports Barcode Generator User Manual Step 10.

Between setting the Version to keep the barcode the same size and using the font's point size, you can adjust the QR Code size to reflect the size you need for scanning.
