Error: not a valid Win32 application installing on 64 bit


We are trying to install it on a Windows Server 2003 R2 (SP2) 64-bit system, but failing with the "...IDAutomation_2DImageGenerator.exe is not a valid Win32 application" popup. Any ideas? Is this Windows version not supported for this .exe?

Several issues can cause this error including the following:

1.
Make sure the system is up to date with all service packs and the latest version of both .NET Framework 3.5, and 4. Reboot the system and try again.

2.
This error may occur if the file is corrupted. If you downloaded the file, delete it and try downloading it again. It's possible during the download that the file became corrupted.

3.
If the second download does not work, temporarily disable all antivirus on the server try downloading the file from a different computer, and transfer the file to the target computer.

4.
In this particular case, the Windows Installer was causing the error. After providing the individual files to the customer, the application worked. If you need the individual files, open a private incident here with your order number to obtain the files.
