Need to create a Function key in a Barcode


I recently purchased an SC5USB I am trying to create a barcode function 2 barcode. I created the barcode in 3 of 9 ASCII. I create the barcode using your linear-barcode-creator website. $R
I printed the barcode and when I scanned the code the function did not seem to work. Can you let me know if I am doing anything wrong? I also updated the keyboard wedges the to enable function key.

Operating System: Windows 10 and 11

Application: Google Sheets

This depends on the scanner used. We recommend referring to the scanner manual for information about this. Usually, function codes are used in Code 128, not in Code 39.
