Importing the PDF417 Encoder Java class in BIP

I am testing out the PDF417 Demo to POC using this with Oracle BIP 12.
For now, I am just trying to import the PDF417Encoder.class in the PDFTest.java example provided. The class is in my project's classpath, but import (import com.idautomation.fontencoder.pdf417.*;) fails with error 'package com.idautomation.fontencoder.pdf417 does not exist'. My project is attached.
Is there anything else required to get this to work?

Thanks, Bryan

Review the Oracle BIP Integration Guide which contains information about PDF417 also. Follow the tutorial at the bottom of that page and double-check the classpath.

Barcode integration in BIP is a complex process and should only be performed by BIP developers with Java experience. Because of the complexity involved, IDAutomation can support the Java barcode product with the examples provided in the package from IDAutomation. For troubleshooting purposes, it is recommended to get the examples provided in the licensed Java package working first and then use a process of elimination to get it working properly in BIP. Issues with BIP should be directed to Oracle Support when the Java product is working properly.
