What is in your xdocore.jar file for BI Publisher solutions?

In your BI Publisher Barcode solution, there is a zip file for QR Code, I see there is an xdocore.jar file. What is in it? How do I use it?

The xdocore.jar is a file included in the BI Publisher Desktop installation from Oracle. It includes XDO class files as well as other class files. Two files in particular: XDOBarcodeEncoder and Logger.class import into a barcodeutil.java file, such as the barcodeQRCodeutil.java.

We include a version of the xdocore.jar with the zip file for QR Code. However, always use the xdocore.jar file included in your BI Publisher Desktop installation as the package structure may be different between versions.

Example of the package structure for Logger.class and XDOBarcodeEncoder.class based on the xdocore.jar file included in our product:

import oracle.xdo.common.log.Logger;
import oracle.xdo.template.rtf.util.XDOBarcodeEncoder;

NOTE: Check your xdocore.jar and set the import to match the package structure.
