How can I reveal after scanning PDF417 in Oracle Forms?

I have the barcode working, but now they want to have the PDF417 scanned and have it parsed out the serial numbers for loading in Oracle Form Builder. But I can't get the codes to be revealed. Is there code in the Idautomation pl/sql package or any Java call I can use that will take the scanned text and reveal the hidden codes in <RS>, <GS>, or <EOT>, so that I can parse out the serial numbers and insert in a table? I tested with the ASCII decoder to make sure the codes showed up correctly in PDF417, but now I have to do it in reverse.

Operating System: Windows 10

Application: Oracle Applications R12.25 Oracle Form Builder 10.1.2.0.2

We are glad you have the product printed correctly. IDAutomation does not provide any Oracle code that can scan and parse out information. However, you may be able to implement some of the suggestions mentioned in the Scanner Integration Guide such as the ability to program an app to monitor for specific characters.

IDAutomation also offers the Barcode Decoder App because it reveals the RS, GS, and EOT functions to verify proper encoding.
